Do you need a relevant, thought provoking, age appropriate presentation for your youth?
Tynesha Lewis, retired member of the Women’s National Basketball Association, is eager to challenge young people to reach their potential. I am Tynesha and would love to speak to your children.
My message to the youth is education with emphasis on the fact that determination and perseverance will take you every place you’ll ever want to go! I speak about my good decisions, my bad ones and the importance of surrounding oneself with positive people. Please allow me the privilege and the honor to speak to the students, their parents and the community.
I am an honor graduate of North Carolina State University with degrees in Chemistry and Biology and most recently earned my MBA. After retiring from professional basketball, I became a pharmaceutical sales representative. My resume is attached.
On the third day of June in 2003, Itsdoable, Inc., my nonprofit organization was incorporated. It began with a simple dream of changing the world one person at a time. After conversations with my close friends and family, we decided to make this dream a reality. We started with motivational speeches and later added small programs; we soon learned that we were “on to something”. The response was overwhelming, so here we are today, almost five years later, trying to assure that every single person knows that ITSDOABLE.
With over ten years experience speaking at public schools, I am aware of the emphasis on the instructional day; however, I am also aware of the mammoth pressures facing our youth today for indulging in unhealthy behaviors. My speeches have been well received by the students, parents and educators. I distinguish between speaking at a Fellowship of Christian Athletes and at a public school.
Please visit my website at www.itsdoable.org to learn more about Itsdoable and to view a snippet of my presentation (Respect). I do have a DVD for use with middle and high school students.
